1. How much will storage cost?

The cost of Storage units varies depending on size. We have units ranging from 1.0 metre cupboards through to 10 metre long warehouses. Click here to view full size range.

2. What size unit will I need?

We will assist you with choosing the right storage size. A brief description is outlined on our storage sizes page. Click here to view. If you choose the wrong size we generally will be able to accommodate you in the required size on your moving day.

3. What can I store?

Household furniture, commercial goods, additional stock products, vehicles, boats, caravans. Just ask us.

4. What can’t I store?

You must not store any food items or perishables. Also you can not store hazardous, dangerous, illegal or stolen goods or goods that are environmentally harmful, explosive or combustible. This includes gas bottles, petrol and petrol cannisters, oils, solvents, drugs and drug associated chemicals.

5. Who has access to my goods?

Yourself and whoever you nominate. Only those persons whose name you have included on the lease.

6. Are there any discounts?

Discounts are offered for long term storage where the customer chooses to pay in advance. Discounts are offered for 6 and 12 month prepayment of rent. We can also offer a great deal on truck hires for prepayments of 3 months and more.

7. What security features are there?

8. What time can I go to my storage?

Your access times are from 6.00 am to 8.00pm every day of the year. You can access your storage any time you like between these hours. We do not offer 24 hour access as we prefer to maintain a secure safe facility. You lock your unit and you keep the key.

9. How long can I store for?

An indefinite period. There is no fixed time to leave storage. In fact we have customers here who have retained their units for as long as we have been here. 17 years. As long as you are paying the rent , the unit is yours.

10. What is the minimum period to store goods?

The minimum hire period is 1 month. Exceptions are sometimes made if we have available units.

You do not have to stay the whole month but there is no refund on the first months’ rent.

11. Do I need to book a storage unit?

Mostly it pays to book as some unit sizes are very popular and not always available. By letting us know what size you require we can always waitlist you for the size you need. This way you are assured of a hassle free move on moving day. It costs nothing to reserve a unit.

It is also possible to move in the same day as long as we have the unit you want.

12. What if I move out early?

A 7 day notice period is required of your intention to vacate. A full refund is made back to you for the unused days of any prepaid period, after the first month.

Your Bond is refunded by direct credit to your bank account after an inspection of the unit.

13. Are my goods Insured while in Storage?

Insurance is your own responsibility as we have no idea of the value of your goods. We do say if your items are worth storing they are most probably worth insuring. We can sell you Insurance cover for your nominated amount or for specific items of value. Just call our team.

14. How do I move my goods in?

There are many ways we can help. Trailers are provided free of charge for your Move-in.

We also have 2 small furniture trucks which can be hired at an affordable hourly rate. A full regular license is all that is required.

If you prefer to have the move done for you, then we have a few great removalists we can happily recommend and be assured we know who the best ones are.

15. What is required to start using a Storage unit?

To commence the lease of a Unit you will be required to sign a Lease Agreement. You will need to provide us with current ID and to pay the first months rent upfront, along with a $50.00 refundable bond. A padlock to secure your unit is compulsory.
